Theresa M. Roche Adamiak, 73, of Taylor, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday. Her beloved husband and best friend, John, died August 1, 2007.

Born in Duryea, on June 17, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nettie Russell Roche and graduated from Duryea High School. Theresa worked for Sweet Heart Candy, Duryea, and retired from Marriotti Building Products, Old Forge, where she worked for 27 years. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord Parish. Her family was the center of her life and she will be remembered for her kindness and gentleness.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kim M., Taylor; and a son, John A., at home; two sisters, Clara Wyker, Oxford, N.J.; and Elaine Dolan, Duryea; two brothers, Frank, Duryea; and Edward, Allentown; nieces and nephews.
A sister, Catherine Gacek, and a brother, Joseph Roche, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10:45 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 127 Stephenson St., Duryea, by the Rev. Francis L. Pauselli. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge.
