Agnes G. Kerrigan, Scranton, died Friday morning at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania. She was the widow of Robert J. Kerrigan who died Sept. 5, 1972.

Born in Bannockburn, Scotland, daughter of the late Patrick and Jane Gillan Flynn, she was a graduate of Olyphant High School. Before retirement, she was employed as a nurse's aide at Lackawanna County Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and a former member of Providence Senior Citizens and the L.A.O.H.
She was a loving and caring person.
Surviving are two sons, Robert J. and wife, Ellen Kerrigan, Scranton; and Thomas P. and wife, Debbie Kerrigan, Scranton; a daughter, Patricia J. and husband, Robert Timlin, Scranton; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Flynn and wife, Mary, Scranton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathleen; three sisters, Jane Lynch, Ann Golden and her twin sister, Ellen Hobbs; and a brother, Patrick Flynn.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Jewish Home and Dr. Paul Remick for their compassionate care.
The funeral will be Monday from the Edward Knight O'Donnell Funeral Home, 323 William St., Scranton, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church. Those attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. A viewing is scheduled Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
