Matthew J. Nat, 65, of Lake Ariel, died Thursday at home. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen R. Krugel Nat.

Born Dec. 15, 1948, in
Wilkes-Barre, son of the late Michael and Rose Wegrzyn Nat, Matt was a graduate of Coughlin High School, class of 1966, and Fort Lauderdale University, class of 1974, where he received degrees in accounting and business administration. For the past three years, Matt had been enjoying his retirement with his loving wife and his beloved children and grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sons, Michael Nat and wife, Kimberly, Inman, S.C.; Mark Nat and wife, Ashley, Pocono Summit; grandchildren, Michael John, Katelynn Rose, Addison Jada and Mason John Nat; nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Buddy.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Our Lady of Fatima Parish at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, 134 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Friends may call Tuesday from 8 to 9.
