Marie F. Morelli, 84, of Olyphant, died Thursday at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit. Her husband was the late Ralph A. They were married for 52 years.

Born in Chicago, she was raised in Brainerd, Minn., and moved to Olyphant in her early 20s. Her parents were the late Roy E. and Hilda Hanson Boyes. A graduate of Brainerd High School, Marie was a member of St. Patrick's Church, now Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant, and Raymond Henry Post 327 Ladies Auxiliary, Olyphant.

She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She unselfishly thought about everyone. She was a talented seamstress who had a love for music and horses.

The family would like to thank the staff at Abington Manor and AseraCare Hospice for their care and support.

She is survived by two sons, Richard and wife, Doris, Dickson City; and John and wife, Laura, Scott Twp.; two daughters, Deena Kinnaman and Randy Martinez, Laurel, Md.; and Lucinda Prowell and husband, Dwane, York; grandchildren and spouses, Richard Jr. and John Jr. Morelli, Angela and Christopher Oakley, Stephen and Stephanie Viccica, Dia and Andrew Ham, Kelsey and Douglas Morgan and Jesse Martinez; two great-grandchildren, Caden and Alex Oakley; and a sister. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Boyes.

Mass will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Delaware Street, Olyphant. Monsignor Michael J. Delaney, pastor, will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Blakely.

Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hudak-O'Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Abington Manor Resident Council, 100 Edella Road, Clarks Summit, PA, 18411.
