Kristopher Anthony Bucklaw, 33, of Arlington, Va., died Friday.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, son of the late Krista L. Bucklaw, he attended Carbondale Area School District, was a graduate of the University of Maryland in business administration and studied finance at George Mason University.
Kris was managing partner and founder of SkillSource Inc. As managing partner, he had more than 10 years of commercial and government sales management and leadership experience. One of his key clients was Medforce Government Solutions, managing business development and employee recruitment consulting. Kris was an active member in several professional organizations including Tech America, Project Management Institute (PMI), Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and the Association of Government Accountants.
Kristopher was a loving, caring, loyal and genuine person to his friends and family. He was self-motivated, and had a strong work ethic. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and time spent with his friends and family.
He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Carol L. Bucklaw, Carbondale; his guardians, Michael and D'Nan Nepa, Carbondale, whom he resided with for much of his life; aunts and uncles, Tim and Mary Bucklaw, Carbondale; Alan and Nancy Bucklaw, Jermyn; Stacy Bucklaw, Phoenixville; and Jon and Renee Bucklaw, Fairfax, Va.
Kristopher was blessed with cousins whom he considered brothers and sisters, Jared and Tara Nepa and son, Maddox; Elese and Cory Frazier, Tim and Molly Bucklaw and son, Alex; Bryan and Melissa Burke, Matthew and Kim Bucklaw and son, Aiden; Jeremie and Melissa Bucklaw, Mark Bucklaw, Jacob Bucklaw, Anthony Bucklaw, Jonathan Bucklaw, Jason Bucklaw, Angela Bird and Jeffery Bird.
He was also preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Alex Bucklaw; an uncle, Jene "Tony" Bucklaw; and many extended relatives and friends.
The funeral will be Friday from the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Interment, SS. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Peckville.
