Philomena Arcieri, born December 9, 1927, in Dunmore, died at Regional Hospital of QA surrounded by her beloved family.

She was the daughter of the late Saverio and Mary Morell Arcieri. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and prior to retirement, she was employed in the local garment industry. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was also a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco's Parish, Dunmore.
Philomena was a fantastic cook and baker. She took great pride in her entire family, especially her great-nieces and nephews. She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a sister, Josephine Noto and husband, Robert, of Dunmore; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Arcieri of Scranton; and Joan Arcieri of New Jersey, a niece, Barb Arcieri Heller and husband, William; nephews, Vincent Arcieri and wife, Tammy, Robert Noto and wife, MaryKay; and Thomas Noto and wife, Gina; great-nieces and nephews, Sam, Ashley, Vinny Arcieri, Zac Miller, Julia Noto, Kaylie, T.J., Cara, Michael Noto.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Vincent and Frank.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, 301 Chestnut St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
