Joseph H. Faux, 82 of East Lemon, died Monday evening at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Julia Ball Faux.

He was born in Vernon on June 27, 1931, son of the late Joseph V. and Cloe M. Evans Faux. He was a 1951 graduate of the Tunkhannock Area High School and was employed by Local 542 as a heavy equipment operator for 35 years.
Joseph was a member of the Lemon United Methodist Church and the oldest living member of the Tunkhannock Moose Lodge 1267. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, mowing grass, NASCAR racing and most of all spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, RT Bliss; brothers, Wilmer, Robert and William Faux.
He is survived by son, Joseph S., of Tunkhannock; daughters, Debra Bliss, of East Lemon; Brenda Stark, of Falls; Tina Dellecave, of East Lemon; brothers, Dave Faux, of Jenningsville; Art Faux, of Vernon; sisters, Donna Robinson, of Tunkhannock; Ethel Kid, of Tunkhannock; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will he held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 West Tioga St., Tunkhannock.
