Theresa Krushinsky, 84, of Dickson City, was taken to the Lord early Friday morning, June 13, 2014, at Geisinger CMC, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund F. Krushinsky, who passed away June 8, 2005.

Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Tessie Siarkewicz Novak, and she was a member of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School. Prior to retirement, Theresa was employed as a garment worker at Enterprise Fashions.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Kosydar and husband, Tom, Dickson City; and Barbara Krushinsky, Scranton; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by two sisters, Valeria Faltynowicz and Dolores Gregorowicz; and four brothers, Walter, Stanley, Anthony and Joseph Novak.
Theresa was a kind and loving mother who only wanted the best for her children, a woman possessing a deep Catholic faith, and an avid quilter and crocheter.
The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 200 Delaware Ave., Olyphant. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, Blakely.
