Aldo Dell'Aquila, 42, of Honesdale, died Thursday evening at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born Jan. 23, 1972, in Queens, N.Y., son of Michael and Mary Capone Dell'Aquila, Poyntelle, he was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Long Island, N.Y., and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Honesdale. He was a self-employed general contractor.
Aldo was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and white water rafting. He also liked to garden. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Also surviving are a son, Aldo Jr., New Jersey; a brother, Anthony Dell'Aquila and wife, Sheri, Honesdale; a sister, Michelle Dell'Aquila and husband, Matt Reed, Maryland; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Gina, Madeline, Matthew, Michael and Max; and several cousins.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment will be private.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
