Josephine Hanuscik, 81, of Blakely, died Friday evening at Regional Hospice of Scranton. She was the wife of Walter Hanuscik. The couple was married for 58 years.

Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late John and Mary Rabiega Milko, she was educated at Dickson City High School, class of 1950, and was a member of St. Adalbert's Polish Catholic National Church, Dickson City. She resided the majority of her life in Blakely, having moved from Dickson City.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa Boraske and husband, Mark, Downingtown; and Cyndi Sekela, Exton; two sisters, Eleanore Neyman and husband, Eugene, Howell, N.J.; and Pauline Milko, Dickson City; three grandchildren, Lauren Sekela and Katie and Matthew Boraske.
The funeral will be Tuesday with Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Adalbert's Polish Catholic National Church, Dickson City. Interment will take place at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Dickson City.
There will be no viewing hours. The family asks everyone to go directly to church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Margotta Funeral Homes.
