Anna D. Krella, formerly of the Minooka section of Scranton, died Sunday at Abington Manor. She was the widow of Joseph A. Krella, who died in 1999.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Masich McDonald, she was a member of Divine Mercy Parish. She was educated in Scranton public schools, and graduated from Scranton Technical High School. Before retirement, she was employed by Golo Manufacturing.
She enjoyed the casinos and crocheting. She was a loving and devoted mother, and lived her life for her grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah A. Quare and husband, Thomas, New Milford, Conn.; six grandchildren, Megan, Erin and Lauren Quare, Jennifer Dunham and Joseph and Matthew Krella; two great-grandchildren, Abby and Luke Krella; a daughter-in-law, Catherine Krella, Ohio; a sister, Barbara Locker, Tunkhannock; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Krella; two brothers, Robert and Edward McDonald; two sisters, Marion McCormick and Ruth Serowinski.
The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Eagen-Hughes Funeral Home, 2908 Birney Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Divine Mercy Parish, to be celebrated by the Rev. Francis Pauselli, pastor. Interment, St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow. Friends may call Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish or St. Jude's Hospital.
