Helen Grudzinski, 90, of Avoca, died Sunday in Hospice at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the widow of the late Theodore Grudzinski.

Born in Avoca, daughter of the late Alex and Catherine (Arch) Pucilowski, Helen was a graduate of Duryea High School. She was a member of Queen of the Apostles Parish, Avoca, and of the former SS. Peter & Paul Parish, Avoca, having been a member of its Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons, Joseph Grudzinski and wife, Carol, Douglassville; and Robert and wife, Christine, Eagleville; grandchildren, Catherine Palladino and husband, Timothy, Pottsgrove; Max Grudzinski and fiancée, Jennifer Cohen, Philadelphia; and Susan Godshalk and husband, Scott, Quakertown; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Megan Godshalk and Robert Palladino; brothers, Alex Pucilowski, Moosic; and Louis Pucilowski and wife, Jennifer, Texas; sisters, Dolores Ruda and husband, Edward, Avoca; Marie Wilk, Avoca; and Betty Jane Lopez, Easton; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Pucilowski; a longtime friend, Jack Gannon; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Helen was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Pucilowski.
The funeral will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ruane & Regan Funeral Home, 1308 Grove St., Avoca, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at Queen of the Apostles Parish, 715 Hawthorne St., Avoca, with the Rev. Philip Sladicka officiating. Interment will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Moosic.
Visitation hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
