Nicholas Yaworski Jr., 62, of Old Forge, died Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Evelyn Whittaker.

Born in Peckville on Aug. 17, 1951, son of the late Nicholas Sr. and Margaret Wagner Yaworski, Nicholas was a graduate of the former Blakely High School. A member of the Army, he was stationed in Germany during his time in the service. Nicholas was employed by RCA Electronics before working as a pool installer for Olympic Pools before his retirement.

A car enthusiast, he enjoyed doing restorations and body work on all types of vehicles. A die-hard NASCAR fan, his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Sr. Loved by many, he will be dearly missed.

Also surviving are six stepchildren; siblings, Michael, Diane and Julieanne; and three nephews.

A blessing service, to be conducted by the Rev. Francis L. Pauselli, pastor of Divine Mercy Parish, is scheduled for Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge. Interment, private.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 6 until services.
