Jason M. Williams, 42, of Scranton, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 22, 2014. He is survived by his wife, the former Lisa Lutian.

Born in Elmira, N.Y., he was the son of Jesse Williams and Diana Hall, both of Elmira. He was a graduate of Elmira South Side High School, Elmira, and Schuyler Chemung Tioga Technical Center and he received his CDL from Smith and Solomon Driving School. He was employed by Veriha Trucking, Milton, Pa. He was a member of the Pocono Chapter of LAMA.
Jason was a wonderful caring husband, father, brother and friend who was a good, kindhearted man. He was very active in his son's activities, attending all basketball and soccer games. He was a "good dad" who enjoyed riding his motorcycle. An animal lover, he will be missed by his two dogs, Raekwon and Zoey. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Also surviving are his son, Joshua Williams, at home; two brothers, Jonathan Williams and Jarod Williams, both of Elmira; mother-in-law, Lorraine Paulish, Scranton; and sister-in-law, Tami Reilly and husband, Joshua, Scranton; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. with services in the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dickson City.
