Robert "Rob" Scott, Cherry Ridge Twp., died Tuesday evening at home after an illness. His wife of 37 years is the former Christine Sharek.

Born Oct. 21, 1949, in Scranton, son of the late LL Jr. and Ruth Conrad Scott, he was educated in Scranton schools and was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and the Williamsport Area Community College. He was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Scranton. Before his retirement, Rob was employed in the day to day operation of his family business, the former CB Scott Co., now known as the Eastern Penn Supply Co.
Rob loved to hunt, fish and NASCAR racing. He loved spending time with his dogs, Mason and Bumper. He will be greatly missed.
Also surviving are sisters, Joan Scott Cross and her husband, A.J., Scranton; and Kathryn Scott Adams and her husband, Joseph, Lake Ariel; a nephew, James Scott Cross; a niece, Tiffany Cross Luciani; three great-nephews, Justin Scott Cross, CJ Luciani and Spencer Cross; a great-niece, Hana Cross; and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, LL Scott III.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions be made in Rob's name to the Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Road, Honesdale, PA 18431.
