Twila P. Ritchey of Forest City died Sunday at the Forest City Nursing and Rehab Center. Her husband of 50 years is the late Blair W. Ritchey.

Born June 9, 1932, in St. Michael, daughter of the late Fred E. and Kathryn Almond Gray, Twila was a graduate of Adams Twp. High School. She had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Portage, Community Bible Church, Portage, and East Gadsden Baptist Church, Gadsden, Ala., and was an active member of the Gideons International Auxiliary.
Twila is survived by her children, Dr. Blair A. Ritchey, Allen, Texas; Terry E. Ritchey, Gadsden, Ala.; and Cynthia Jean, wife of Paul Benarick, Forest City; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred W. Gray, Portage; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tracy; and a brother, William Hicks.
The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff of the Forest City Personal Care Home and the Forest City Nursing Center for the wonderful care over the past three years.
Friends will be received by the family Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage, with a memorial service at 1 at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob.
Local arrangements are provided by the Kevin Lesjack Funeral Home of Forest City.
