Olga Harvilchuck, 89, of Olyphant died Thursday morning in Chesterton, Ind., following an illness. She was the widow of Harry G. Harvilchuck, who died in 2006. They had been married for 58 years.

Born and raised in Olyphant, daughter of the late Stephen and Effie Kotko Hunyak, she was a graduate of Olyphant High School and a lifetime member of All Saints Orthodox Church in Olyphant.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved cooking, crocheting and gardening, and especially loved planning her trips to Atlantic City and meeting many friends.
She is survived by a son, Harry and wife, Linda, Gettysburg; two daughters, Nadia Crea and husband, David, Lehighton; and Diane Inks and husband, David, St. Augustine, Fla.; four grandchildren, Tamara, Larissa, Justin and Gregory; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lovey Polumbo, New Jersey.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William and Harry Hunyak; and two sisters, Mary Kopacz and Julia Mlinarsky.
The funeral will be Tuesday morning from All Saints Orthodox Church, Willow Street, Olyphant, with a Requiem Service at 10:30 a.m. by the Very Rev. Daniel Geeza. Interment, parish cemetery, Peckville. Arrangements are by the John J. Turko & Sons Funeral Home, Olyphant.
