Angie Tewksbury, 37, of Nicholson, died Tuesday at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Kenneth Tewksbury.

Born in Tunkhannock on July 17, 1976, daughter of Harold Cook and the late Anna Mae Bauman Cook, she was a faithful member of Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church. After three years of specialized nursing care and extensive medical attention, Angie passed away peacefully. Psalm 116:15: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."
She is also survived by her daughter, Kayla; her siblings, Larry Evans and wife, Kitty; Stacy Cook, Clarissa McDonald and husband, Bryan; and Terry Evans; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 5 p.m. at Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church, to be officiated by Minister John Erdos. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the church on Monday from 4:30 ntil services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church, P.O. Box 3, Brooklyn, PA 18813.
