Margaret Deubler, 84, a lifelong resident of Gouldsboro, died Monday, July 21 at Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home in Lake Ariel. She was the widow of Alvin Deubler, who died in 2006.

Born in Gouldsboro, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Lemech Boruta, Margaret worked in the garment industry throughout the Tobyhanna area, retiring from Moritz Embroidery in Mount Pocono. She was a member of St. Rita's Church in Gouldsboro and the ILGWU. Margaret enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank the staff of Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home for the special care and compassion they gave Margaret over the last few years. They were like her second family.

Surviving are her sisters-in-law, Antoinette Boruta and Marjorie Boruta, both of Gouldsboro; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John, Steve and Mike; and her sister, Helen Cheek.

There will be a blessing service Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3 First St., Spring Brook Twp., to be celebrated by the Rev. Robert Simon. Interment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Covington Twp.

A viewing will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. To leave an online condolence, visit
