Cari J. Brown, 53, of Dalton, died Saturday at home after a nearly four-year battle with cancer. She and her loving husband, Kyle R. Brown, would have celebrated their fourth anniversary in September.

Born in Park Ridge, Ill., Cari attended Syracuse University, East Stroudsburg University and the University of Scranton, earning both bachelor's and master's degrees. As a regional sales representative for Convatec Corp., a manufacturer of surgical dressings, medical and ostomy supplies, she was well-known, appreciated and respected by nurses of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society, doctors, surgeons and purchasing agents in hospitals, nursing homes and other health care facilities throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.
She is also survived by her father and stepmother, Paul and Barbara Miller, Bloomfield, N.J.; her mother, Joanne Miller, Chandler, Texas; a sister, Lori Davis and her husband, Trevor, Chandler; a niece and nephew and their spouses and children; and her stepson, Nate Brown and wife, Danette, Centennial, Colo.
A Christian memorial service will be held by Chaplain David Betts of Hospice of the Sacred Hearts on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave., Scranton. Graveside services will follow at St. Mary of Czestochowa Cemetery, Scranton.
Friends may call Saturday from 10:30 to service time.
