Calvin James McGregor, 62, of Factoryville, died Thursday at home.

Born in Scranton on Jan. 15, 1952, son of Ruth "Herman" of Factoryville and the late James K. McGregor, who died on Aug. 31, 2003, Calvin was a 1970 graduate of Tunkhannock Area School District.

He was a dairy farmer who loved to work the land, running his tractors, baling hay and milking cows. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and Phillies fan.

Surviving besides his mother are a sister, Joan McGregor; and a brother, Robert McGregor and wife, Dixie; and a nephew, Scott McGregor, all of Factoryville; and several cousins.

Also preceding him in death besides his father was his twin brother, who died at birth.

A funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Kristian G. Bjornstad of Peace Lutheran Church, Scranton. Interment, Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.

Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before service.
