James Gay, 57, of Scranton and Newton-Ransom, passed away quietly at home on July 27, 2014. His wife is the former Debbie Williams.

Born Feb. 6, 1958, in Scranton, he was the son of Joseph and Judith Sands Gay.
James was a lifetime truck driver and Harley-Davidson rider, who enjoyed the excitement and traveling of the open road. Known and loved as Gaylord or Crazy Horse, he was a longtime friend of Bill W., and will be deeply missed.
Also surviving are brothers, Joe and wife, Vera, Lake Ariel; and Jodie and wife, Peggy, Scranton; sisters, Deborah and husband, James Lee, Lake Winola; and Judy and husband, Dave Lewonczyk; and several nieces and nephews that loved their Crazy Uncle Jimmy.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Price Gay; and brothers, John and Jeff.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Heil's Place, 1002 Wheeler Ave., Scranton, PA 18510, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
