Mary Turbovich, 94, a South Scranton resident, died Sunday at Allied Skilled Nursing Facility. She was the widow of Michael Turbovich, who died in 1971.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Serban Rostoski, she was a member of St. John Neumann Parish.
The family would like to thank the staff of Allied Services for their loving care of Mary.
Surviving are a son, Ronald and wife, Janet, Mount Pocono; and a daughter, Sharon Chambers and husband, Terry, Herndon, Va.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all who lovingly referred to her as "Nana."
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Brian and Michael; and eight siblings.
The funeral will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the August J. Haas Funeral Home Inc., 202 Pittston Ave., Scranton, with Mass at 9:30 in Nativity of Our Lord Church, St. John Neumann Parish, 633 Orchard St., Scranton, to be celebrated by the Rev. Michael Bryant, pastor. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 969 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
