Frances R. Nealon, 90, of Clarks Summit, died Saturday morning at the Jewish Home in Scranton. She was the widow of the late Paul J. Nealon, who died in 1990.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late William and Kathleen Hawley McGraw, she was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church and the Ladies Auxiliary, Abington V.F.W., Post 4069 in Clarks Summit. She enjoyed gardening, creating hand-crafted ceramic items and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed having them altogether. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are two sons, Martin and his wife, Verna, Olyphant; and Paul and his wife, Anita, Clarks Summit; four daughters, Kathleen "Kay" Nealon, Pompano, Fla.; Deborah Evans, Scranton; Beverly Walsh and her husband, Michael, Clarks Summit; and Patricia Mayo and her husband, Timothy, Scranton; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Monsignor James McGarry.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
