Josephine A. Lambert, 96, of Hyattsville, Md., died Thursday.

She was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Stachurski.

She is survived by a sister, Helen Panunzio, Scranton; two daughters, Josephine Kimmelman, Hyattsville; and Paulette Palmer, New Windsor, Md.; a son, Raymond Guziewicz, Scranton; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ruggiero, Blanche Gentile and Anna and Laura Stachurski, and three brothers, John, Joseph and Stanley Stachurski, all of Scranton; and two sons, Peter Guziewicz, Mount Holly, N.J.; and Bernard Guziewicz, Gettysburg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 7501 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Md.

The family will receive friends Monday at Gasch's Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, from 5 to 8 p.m.
