Penny, I am so sorry for your loss. I work with your Aunt Joanne now and am no longer at Fairview Memorial Park but have never forgotten you. I talk to Timmy all the time and always ask after you. Again, I am so sorry for your loss, you are too young to have to go through something so terribly hard. God bless you and your family.

Having lost my father at a young age, I feel for the entire family, but also for the kids who knew him so well, but now live with the shortened span of personal memories. My son never got to meet my Dad, but he still knows him well through the stories we tell. Joe, like my Dad, will stay alive and young and the great guy he was as long as everyone remembers, and I know you are not about to forget Joe, ever. So try to get through this tough time as best you can. Talk, cry, scream and yell, but don't forget to tell the stories again and again. Never tire of listening, never tire of telling. He lives on through his family and friends forever.

Penny, my prayers and sympathies are with you and the rest of Joe's family at this very difficult time. Life often throws hard times our way, but no more so than when we lose a loved one so suddenly and so young. Hold fast to each other, hold fast to the love that he gave you all.
Although I did not know Joe personally, I know he was a good man through the stories his wife would tell me about him. God bless you all.
