Jennifer Lee Browning, 39, Greencastle, died Monday in Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md. She was the wife of Gary Lee Browning,
Born June 5, 1972, in Tunkhannock, daughter of Robert F. and Nancy M. (Greene) Stackhouse of Tunkhannock, she was employed at Citigroup of Hagerstown, Md. A member of the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church of Greencastle, Jennifer volunteered with numerous charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, March of Dimes, Meals on Wheels and the soup kitchen. Jennifer was a graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School and was a magna cum laude graduate of Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre. She was a loving mother to her two sons and she enjoyed cross stitching and puzzles.
She is also survived by two sons, Robert "Bobby" Browning and Chase Browning, both at home; one brother, Robert Stackhouse, and wife Elizabeth, Mehoopany; paternal grandmother Ann Stackhouse, Carbondale; two nephews, Brian and Kyle, and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Brian and Michael Stackhouse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 385 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle, by the Rev. Joe Stahura, celebrant. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S.
