Carmen J Stambone Jr., 75, of Jessup, passed on Friday evening surrounded by the love of his family, wife of 55 years, Nancy Reap Stambone; son, Carmen J Stambone III; daughter, Cheryl Aniska; son-in-law, Tom Aniska and his bothers, Anthony and John Stambone.

Carmen was a loving and faithful husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was best known as a devoted family man to whom his family meant everything, especially his grandchildren, Elizabeth, C.J., Thomas and Maria Sophia.

Born in Jessup, he was the son of the late Carmen J Stambone Sr. and Palmie DePietro Stambone.

The family would like to extend a personal thank you to his brothers and their wives, Anthony and Theresa Stambone and John and Phyllis Stambone, for their unconditional love and support. Also, a special thank you to the caring nurses from Traditional Home Health Care, especially Barbara, Kelly, Monica, Dorothy, Ann and Chelsea.

He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph; and a nephew, John Jude Stambone.

The funeral will be Thursday with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Assumption Church, Jessup. Interment will be private.
