Rosemarie "Cookie" Jimcosky of North Scranton died Sunday at home following an illness.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Rose Mary Laytos Jimcosky of Scranton and the late Alex Jimcosky Sr. She was educated in Scranton schools and, before her retirement, was employed by Romart Manufacturing Co. for many years. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Cookie, as she was affectionately called, enjoyed making jewelry and crafts. Spending time with her grandchildren was paramount.

Also surviving are three daughters, Linda Mills, Scranton; Suzanne Urash, Tampa, Fla.; and Lisa Jury and husband Nicholas, Clarks Green; four grandchildren, Jason Mills and Brandi Cortazar, both of Dunmore; and Nathan and Alissa Jury, Clarks Green; five great-grandchildren, Zakk, Samantha and Jake Cortazar; Jason Jr. and Sophia Mills; a brother, Alex Jimcosky and wife, Lorraine, Scranton; and two nephews, Adam and Philip Jimcosky.

Private funeral services will be conducted from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
