Douglas W. Goodall, 61, Dunmore, died Thursday at home.

Born June 21, 1951, in Scranton, son of the late Irvine and Hilda Thompson Goodall, he was a graduate of Scranton Central High School. He was a Navy veteran, serving from 1970 to 1976, and received the Combat Action Ribbon, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Before retirement, he was employed as a machinist at Tobyhanna Army Depot.

An avid bowler, he was involved with the Green Ridge Bowling League for many years and was a member of American Legion Post 908 of Scranton.

Surviving are three sisters, Roberta Goodall, Scranton; Nancy Gavern, Scranton; and Elizabeth "Betsy" Lavelle and husband, William, Throop; two brothers, Irving Goodall, Warrensburg, Mo.; and Gary Goodall and wife, Ann, Old Forge; several nieces and nephews.
