Staff Sgt. Jason Ryan Miller, 25, of Mount Laurel, N.J., died at Virtue Hospital, Mount Holly, N.J., on Friday.

Born in Tunkhannock on Nov. 2, 1987, he was the son Burton Earl Miller and Deborah Casselbury of Springville. He was married to the former Brittany Fike of Springville. Jason was a 2006 graduate of Elk Lake High School then entered into the military, joining the Air Force, where he was an aviation resource manager. After joining the military, he received many awards and medals for his dedicated service. He also received his CCAF from the Air Force.

He enjoyed wrestling, baseball, riding his dirt bikes and ATVS, and he enjoyed playing X-Box.

Also surviving are a son, Jace Miller of Springville; sister, Clarissa Miller and fiancé, Walter Sherwood, Tunkhannock; a brother, Caden Miller, Springville; his companion, Selina Rodriguez, Del Rio, Texas; many aunts and uncles.

Jason was preceded in death by a brother, Burton E. Miller Jr.; paternal grandparents, Jacob and Mary E. Miller; and maternal grandparents, Ralph and Delores Casselbury.

Funeral services with military honors will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Internment will be at Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
