Kay Phyllis Burns, 66, a resident of Greene Twp., died Wednesday night at Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home, Lake Ariel. Her husband of 44 years is Francis E. Burns.

Born in Paterson, N.J., daughter of the late Charles and Anna Bailey, she was a graduate of Wayne High School. Until her retirement in 1997, she was a secretary for the New Jersey Department of Personnel. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Newfoundland, the Hamilton Twp. Columbiettes, the Gouldsboro Lions Club and the St. Rita's Women's Guild.

Also surviving are two sons, Michael Burns and wife, Misu, Honolulu, Hawaii; and Jeffrey Burns and wife, Celeste, Roebling, N.J.; a sister, Patricia Strand and husband, Roy, Rowayton, Conn.; two brothers, William Bailey and wife, Beth, Stockholm, N.J.; and Christopher Bailey and wife, Judith, Wayne, N.J.; three granddaughters, Suhyeon, Caitlin and Lyndsey; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Thomas Bailey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's of Padua Church, 889 Main St., Newfoundland. The interment will be at 2:30 p.m. in St. John's Cemetery, 124 S. Main St., Allentown, N.J.

A viewing will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes, 3 First St., Spring Brook Twp., PA 18444.
