Lloyd R. Barber Jr., 67, of Taylor, died Thursday afternoon at the inpatient unit of Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA. His wife is the former Pearl Kulick, with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage in October.

Born in Newton-Ransom, he was the son of the late Lloyd R. Sr. and Doris Lewis Barber. Before retirement he was employed by Maui Cup and he was also a member of the United Baptist Church, Scranton.
The family would like to thank Donna Colbon for the wonderful care given to Lloyd.
Also surviving are a son, Lloyd R. Barber III, Taylor; two daughters, Margaret Clark and husband, Douglas, of Taylor; and Charissa Avery and husband, Charles, of Dalton; grandchildren, Dougie, Charlie, Samantha and Donnie Clark; Mariah Barber; Mallory, Becca, Ben Avery and Olivia and Katarina Maikranz; two brothers, Jeff Barber of Scranton; and Douglas Barber of Taylor; two sisters, Dodi Beavers of Lake Ariel; and Susan Maikranz of Taylor; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Matthew and Ronnie Barber.
The funeral will be Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Stefanelli Funeral Home Inc., 721 S. Main St., Taylor, with services by Chaplain David Betts of Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA. Interment: private at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.
