Arnold Levine

Arnold Levine, a resident of the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center, died Friday morning in the Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness.

Arnold was born on Feb. 9, 1948, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the son of the late Nathan and Regina Cohen Levine. He was of the Jewish faith. He moved to Northeast Pennsylvania in the early 1990s. He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by sisters, Donna and Paula, and their families.

Funeral and military services will be held Monday at noon in the Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton (Long Island), N.Y., officiated by Cantor Paul Zim.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the Vanston and James Funeral Home, 1401 Ash St., Scranton.
