Lois M. Cianflone of Dunmore died Saturday at home. She was the widow of Anthony D. Cianflone, who died Aug. 8. The couple had been married for more than 52 years.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Mary Jane Valvano Furello. She was a 1959 graduate of Dunmore High School. Before her retirement, she was employed by Specialty Records. She was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish.
Lois enjoyed baking and tending to her flower garden, but the most important thing in her life was her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they were her entire world and she truly lived for them. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Cianflone, Dunmore; two sons, Anthony and wife Janice, Dunmore; and Rocco, Scranton; three grandchildren, Paul Zelenski and wife, Jessica, Scranton; Amber and Antonia Cianflone, Dunmore; three great-grandchildren, Izabella and Jayden Zelenski; and Hailey Schreiber; a brother, Rocco Furello and wife, Josephine, Dunmore; extended family, Jimmy, Karen and Jimi Dartt, Dunmore; many nieces and nephews.
A brother, Joseph Furello, also preceded her in death.
The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 112 Kurtz St., Dunmore. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m.
