Lenore Betty Tannenbaum, 81, of Scranton, died Friday at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Dr. Gerald Tannenbaum, who died in 1971.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Theodore and Flora Burris Koppelman, she was a member of Temple Israel in Scranton and was a graduate of the University of Michigan.
Her family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania for the care and compassion shown to Lenore during her stay with them over the years.
Surviving are two sons, David Tannenbaum and wife, Regina, Paoli, Pa.; and Kenneth Tannenbaum, Miami.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rita Dinner.
The funeral will be Tuesday at noon in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with services by Rabbi Moshe Saks and Cantor Vladimir Aronzon.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment to follow in the Koppelman family mausoleum in Temple Israel Cemetery in Dunmore.
