Ralph J. "RJ" Minichello Jr. of Eynon died Friday. His widow is the former Tracy Iyoob.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of Ralph J. and Carole Zenkavich Minichello. He attended Valley View schools and was a graduate of Valley View High School, class of 1992. RJ was a member of Christ the King Parish in Eynon and worked for graphic design and IT for computer companies. Most recently, he was employed by Dish Network.
Music was his passion, and he played drums in various bands in the region, the last one being the Switch. He attended classes at the University of Scranton and also the Recording Workshop, in Chillicothe, Ohio. Family was always his priority and he was surrounded by his cousins at every opportunity.
Also surviving are two daughters, Abigayle Cashuric, Spring, Texas; and Skylar Minichello, Blakely; a sister, Krissi Lastauskas and husband, Jeff, Waverly; nephews, Nico and Matthew Lastauskas; cousins, aunts and uncles.
Preceding him in death were maternal grandparents, John and Bernice Romanski Zenkavich; and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Sadie Smith Minichello.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Louis J. Rapoch Funeral Home, 420 Church St., Archbald, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 417 Main St., Eynon. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
