Mary V. Keyser, 95, of Peckville, passed away at St. Mary's Villa early Sunday, April 14, 2013.

The former Mary Dubis, she was born Dec. 27, 1917, the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Cus Dubis. She was educated in the Wilkes-Barre school system. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Kulak; and her second husband, Charles A. Keyser; and her siblings, Eleanor, Theodore, Lottie and Delores Dubis.

Her family was the focal point of Mary's life. She was noted for her excellent cooking and baking skills and she enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor, valued education and passionately enjoyed chocolate.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Keyser of Peckville; and Janet Wells and her husband, Kevin, of Dalton; and two stepchildren, Patricia K. Nieder and her husband, Edwin, of Los Angeles; and Roger D. Keyser and his wife, Sylviane, of Cumming, Ga. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Christina M. Nieder and her husband, Kenneth Koinberg; Alison A. Nieder and her fiancé, John Bramlett; Matt Keyser and his wife, Nicole; Tim Keyser and his wife, Catherine; Brianna and Caralee Wells. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Charlie and Christina Keyser; Faith, Lauren and Will Keyser.

Mary's memory will live on in her family's hearts. She will be dearly missed.

Her family would like to thank the staffs of St. Mary's Villa and Celtic Community Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Robert Decker Funeral Home in Peckville. Services and interment will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Peckville at the convenience of the family.
