Robert Lloyd Kerr, 25, of Brooklyn, Pa., and formerly of Hop Bottom, died Sunday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His wife is Angela Marie Schwarztrauber Kerr.

Born Feb. 26, 1988, in Scranton, to Robert Edward and Robin Lynn Pierson Kerr, Hop Bottom, Bobby loved being outdoors, shooting, riding quads and motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He loved his job as a roughneck in the gas fields. Bobby had a heart of gold; he would do anything for his family and friends, and was their protector, and "S.O.S." man. Bobby loved spending time with his stepdaughter, Jocelyn, and her mother, "Baby Doll." Jocelyn loved him very much.
Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Jocelyn Ann Marie Schwarztrauber; sister, Christina Kerr, Hop Bottom; paternal grandmother, Katherine Kerr, Nicholson; maternal grandmother, Nina (Pierson) and husband, Ed Segeske, Florida; numerous aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Robert Eugene Kerr; and maternal grandfather, Rolland Lloyd Pierson.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, with Pastor Josh Winn of the West Lenox Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Lathrop Twp., Pa.
Visitation will be Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the True Friends Animal Welfare Shelter, 16332 SR 706, Montrose, PA, 18801; and to fight breast cancer at breastcancer.org.
