Adele Paul Obituary
Born Dec. 16, 1925, in Old Forge, daughter of the late Pio and Maria Vacciani Fiorentini, Adele began a career in law enforcement as the first woman police officer of the Old Forge borough. Before retirement, she served as both a U.S. deputy marshal and a deputy sheriff in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. A loving mother, dear aunt and great-aunt, and friend to many, she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Adele Szuhai, Strongsville, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Ann Fiorentini, Taylor; many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Pio Fiorentini; and sisters, Laura Webb and Antoinette Esposito.
Graveside services will be Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. in Old Forge Cemetery, by the Rev. August A. Ricciardi, pastor of Prince of Peace Parish in Old Forge.

I was a friend of Sr. Edward Ann and I met Adele on visits to her home where we were fed good Polish food and by her great stories.
