Kathy Lyons Gallagher, 65, of Annapolis, died at home on November 17 following a lengthy battle with breast cancer.
The Guest Book is expired.
Kathy was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Marywood College. After college she moved to Annapolis and accepted a teaching position with the Anne Arundel County public schools, where she taught English until she retired to raise her children. Kathy loved to garden, to cook and to visit Ireland. She was a warm and nurturing person. She was the heartbeat of her home and the spirit of her soul mates; her empathy and sharp wit will be missed by all who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Jack Gallagher; and three daughters, Bridget, Ellen and Kathleen Gallagher, all of Annapolis; and by her mother, Catherine Lyons, and brother, Jack Lyons, both of Scranton. She was the daughter of the late William F. Lyons.
