Diane Fernandes Obituary
She was very spiritual, and her patron saint was St. Therese. Her career and gift was to work with children, and she had a wonderful sense of humor.
Surviving are sisters, Lisa Lavelle Rubando and Brenda Fernandes; and nephew, James Benjamin Fernandes.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 1403 Jackson St., Scranton.
Arrangements are under the care of the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton.

To Diane's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Diane was truly a wonderful, kind-hearted, and caring person. This breaks my heart knowing she lost her battle. I pray that Diane may now rest in peace. And, I pray your body, mind, and spirit can now begin the healing process and also be in peace. God Bless.
