Tyler Montaro Obituary
Born in Scranton on Aug. 13, 1990, he is survived by his mother, Denise Montaro; her fiancé, William Scott; and father, Chris Manger. He was always optimistic, friendly and outgoing, taking any opportunity to crack a joke and make someone laugh. Tyler's smile was infectious and drew the attention of many, it's shown throughout everyone's Facebook posts. Tyler was a avid snowboarder and skier.
Also surviving are his daughter, Aurora, and her mother, Brittany Fornaszewski; sisters, Courtney Veronica and Kaycee Snuggs; brother, Christopher Jr.; great-grandmother, Kathryn Manger; grandmother, Catherine Harris; grandfather, Ralph "Dewey" Montaro; aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Donna Manger and Jack Manger; and maternal grandfather, Robert J. Harris.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a memorial service conducted by the Rev. Paul Molter immediately following at Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, 301 Chestnut St., Dunmore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Tyler Montaro GoFundMe account.
The family wants to break the silence of addiction. To anyone reading this, the demon of addiction is still out on the streets, waiting to kill the next innocent suffering person who may be thinking about using. If we can save just one life from the sickness and suffering and spare their families, we pray that breaking the silence of addiction works.

Dear Denise, Chris, Lottie, Dewey,and William, I am so deeply saddened by the loss of your Tyler, I didn't know him but thought I saw him from time to time at Grandpa Dewey's I will PRAY for his soul and all of the other addicted young ones in our lives. My deepest condolences. I'm a cusin from N.Y., Nora and Ado Borgogellis youngest daughter. Please tell Dewey were very sorry for your families loss. There's no words to express my personal sadness, even though I've never met this young cusin I have the same disease, but have been in recovery for 21 years.
