Many years late, but I sadly lost touch with Belinda. We trained together as London Blue Badge Tourist Guides. I will always remember her gentle and kind - and humble - personality. Training as a guide bonds people closely, and I feel honoured to have had her as a friend. With affection. Janette Koslover

We just read this today. Belinda was a good neighbour to us in Drayton Gardens and a great host at Barrington Downs when Alan, as a tourist guide, used to take his gardening groups to visit. Her own contribution to Blue Badge tourist guiding was considerable, writing and publishing an excellent guide to the City of London. She told us the story of how she was guiding once on a coach with Jeremy sitting down in the jump seat directing the driver on where to go. How it amused her that the group or anyone else had no idea that the man giving instructions to the driver was the Chairman of LLoyds Bank! She had a great sense of humour and will be sadly missed.

So sad to hear Belinda has died - only heard because a friend by some extraordinary chance rang Barrington instead of my number on 23 October. Please let me know when Memorial Service will be. My condolences & best wishes to all the family.

Just heard from Robin of Belinda's death. How sorry I am that I will miss seeing her when I am next in the UK. She was a true lady in every way long before it became her title.
She and Jeremy were true blessings to all who were privileged to know them
