I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Sir Brian. I was clerk to his brother Sir Patrick for my career in Chambers. Had many encounters with Sir Brian and a kinder and more benevolent gentleman you could not wish to meet. Had so much love for his family especially and was held with so much respect. An honour for sure to have known him.
