Death Changes Everything. Time Changes Nothing.
I miss your voice, your wisdom, and the stories of your life.
I miss your presence, I just miss you.

Uncle Johnny, patriarch of the family. A life well lived and an inspiration to many of us.
You served your country as an Ambassador and defended the free world as soldier. An unsung hero and a practicing Christian who will be missed by the family. Truly worthy of praise.
I hope you have your memoires (which would include a family history) written.

Dad, my loss is immeasurable the troubles of my heart have enlarged who will bring me out of my distress aai, who can I hold on to
It was those hard times that challenged you and determined who you were. You will be defined not just by what you achieved, but by how you survived.
When I felt flustered, distressed and could not cope, Dad will always recite this to me with a knowing smile Let nothing disturb thee Let nothing dismay thee All things pass Dad, I thank you for given me the strength and courage to stand my ground. Always telling me not to allow the confused to confuse me. You filled me with happiness and love, more so, than I enjoyed when there was bread and wine, ooh plenty.
I will make sure the pride and dignity you installed in me will never fade. Your grandchildren will remember you as they carry your genes on their time-line. Your greatgrandchildren will look back to where their strength comes from.
Thank you for having given me counsel, given me strength, given me comfort and above all protection. The fatherly love you showed me has enlarged my heart beyond measure your heart lives in me forever
The kingdom is the Lords Now you lay down. Peace. Sleep...

Your legendary life is worthy of praise. Every human journey comes to its end when the Lord decides. We do not mourn but celebrate your life; it was well lived.
May God Almighty accept our prayers to allow you be a guardian angel to your children, grand- and great-grand children as you Rest In Peace. Amen.

He was a great human being and belongs to a generation of leaders the world may never know again. He inspired us who heard about him to do good for humanity and to be our best selves. May we continue steadfast, in the example he has shown!
