Dear Aunt Pearl, Bob,Bill and Brad
I was very sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Leo.
He was always so kind and generous when we came to vist. It must have been hard when all seven of us arrived in our station wagon from Canada.
I have so many memories of our visits to Port Huron. Going to the swinging bridge, eating huge ice cream sundaes, trying to get over the make shift high jump in the back yard.
I loved when your dad took us to his shop. I remember once he showed me this old black remodeled car. He sat in the drivers seat and I sat beside him. He told me the car used to belong to gangsters. He told me the dents in the leather of the seats was due to the barrel of their guns. I never knew if this was true or not but it made a good story.
I miss my dad just like you will but you will have wonderful memories.
Give a kiss to Aunt Pearl love to all. Your Canadian Cousin

I did send a message, and do hope you will get it. Sorry about Leo, and give my love to Pearl. He was so devoted to her. I remember when Uncle Elmer and Aunt VElma would come to Port Huron for a visit before they moved to the states. We would have to sleep across the bed so all the girls would fit in one bed. So many years ago, and nice memories. Love and Prayers to the family. They use to stop by here to see us on their way from Florida to Mich. Always enjoyed their visits.
