"Doc" Winkleman was a cherished part of the 1961 Russian Tour. He and Jan were rocks that all 94 band members relied on through the inevitable daily emergencies both physical and emotional that occur on a strenuous 15 week tour. Thank you for bring "Doc" to our last reunion.

I met Gene at the Gathering Place, when we were both in the Friends & Family support group. His calm spirit and medical knowledge helped all of us as he calmed our fears and answered our questions about our loved ones. He was always a gentle and positive member of our group. I'll always be thankful for knowing him.

I love this picture of your father!! I can just see him walking down the street with his wonderful smile. I remember his fun comments when we "old timers" judged the desserts at the block party. We did have fun.
Many condolences to you and your family,
