Vickie Dean Davis, 61, of Kimball Township, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 surrounded by her family.

She was born March 14, 1952 in Port Huron to the late Donald and Sally Tomlinson. She married her true love, Gordon Davis on June 26, 1982 in Port Huron. He died January 17, 2002.

Vickie was employed with the St. Clair County Clerk for over 25 years, retiring in March 2012. She was a 1970 graduate of Port Huron High School. She enjoyed classic cars, cruising, garage sales and collecting antiques. She cruised the neighborhood on her Gator keeping the neighborhood clean.

She is survived by two sons Larry (Denise) Hyde and Jason Hyde, all of Smiths Creek; a daughter, Diana Hyde of Marysville; five grandchildren, Jonathon Crerar, Kyle Hyde, Kaiden Fields, Kalei Hyde and Connor Hyde; two brothers, Don (Chris) Tomlinson of Avoca and Randy (Julie) Tomlinson of Port Huron; a cousin, Karen Tomlinson and family of Grant Township; and a special friend, Patricia Hillis of Smiths Creek.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Stanley W. Leichty will officiate.

Vickie was a kind, cheerful, wonderful person and co-worker. She greeted everyone with a genuine smile that brought out the best in the people she met.
