Andrews, Robert M.  
Robert M. Andrews Croswell Age 89, died Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Blue Water Lodge, Fort Gratiot. He was born June 13, 1925 in Port Huron, son of the late Gus and Hazel (Woodruff) Andrews. He and Shirley M. Gardner were married March 21, 1949 in Croswell.  She died March 28, 1995. Bob was a WW II veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Union Local #324.  He was a life member of the D.A.V., Croswell American Legion Post #255 and the former V.F.W. Post #2382, Lexington.  Member of the National Order of  Trench Rats #522, Port Huron and a member of the Community of Christ Church. Surviving are a son and daughter in law Larry and Theresa of Port Huron. He was also preceded in death by his second wife Vera. Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, Dec. 22 in the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell.  Evangelist Gary Piper of the Community of Christ Church will officiate.  Burial will be in Croswell Cemetery.  Military services will be conducted by Croswell American Legion Post #255. Atfield, David  
David L. Atfield Port Huron Township David L. Atfield, 77, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, December 18, 2014. He was born March 24, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Thomas and Edyth Atfield. He married C. Sue Eifert on September 7, 1957. Dave was a self-employed carpet installer since 1963. He loved his work and was a great motivator of others. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golf and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue; two daughters, Jamie (Douglas) Alexander of Fort Gratiot and Lori (Gary) Beem of Burtchville; four grandchildren, Haley and Kelsey Alexander and Alex and Jacob Beem; a sister, Caryl (Larry) Butler of Marysville; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Dorothy) Eifert and Robert Conroy; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Eifert; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Conroy; and a brother-in-law, Jim Eifert. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Robin Abbott will officiate. Daniel, Jay  
Jay Jeffrey Daniel Fort Gratiot Jay Jeffrey Daniel, 72,  went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 18, 2014. He was born March 28, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Everitt and Elizabeth Daniel. He married Debra A. Papinaw on July 3, 1982 in Port Huron. Mr. Daniel was employed with Prestolite Electric and later with Huron Manufacturing. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Willow Ridge Golf Club for many years. He was a great sports enthusiast and never missed any of his children's sporting events. He is survived by his wife, Debby; sons, Troy, Jeff and Adam (Kait) Daniel; daughter, Krista (Travis) Cliff; grandson, Logan; and granddaughter, Madison. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Daniel; and sister, Janet Daniel. Cremation has taken place. A service is planned for a later date. Arrangements are by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Fleming, Shirley Ann  
Shirley Ann Fleming 80, formerly of Bad Axe passed away peacefully on December 18, 2014 at her home in Algonac. Shirley was born on March 10, 1934 to the late Melvin and Lillian (Cook) Dove in St. Clair County. She was united in marriage to Henry (Hank) J. Fleming on July 11, 1959. They were together for nearly 52 years before he passed away on February 19, 2011. Shirley enjoyed crafting, making quilts, baking, and sewing. She was a great cook, loved to polka dance with Hank and travel. Shirley is survived by her children Terry (Gordy) Moak of Port Huron, Kathy Farmer of Algonac, Joe (Sheila) Fleming of Algonac, John (Gina) Fleming of Port Huron, Bob (Tammy) Fleming of Bad Axe, and Rick (Karen) Fleming of Sandusky; sister Mary Cales of Sandusky; twenty three grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother Elton Dove, son Melvin Dove and grandson Brandon Moak. Funeral service will be 11 am Monday, December 22nd at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Burial at Colfax Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 - 8 pm on Sunday, December 21st at MacAlpine Funeral Home and from 10-11 am on Monday, December 22nd. Gladchun, Marshall  
Marshall D. Gladchun Age 67, died peacefully at home in Middletown, RI, November 26, 2014. Son of Michael and Betty Jean (Marshall), he was born May 5, 1947 in Detroit, MI. A proud and supportive father and grandfather, he is survived by his three loving sons, Matthew Marshall, Jeffrey Dennis (Alyssa), and Michael Frederick (Leah), his 5 grand children and his former wife, Debra Gladchun. Also survived by a brother, Michael Gladchun (Mary), of Plymouth, MI and a sister Cheryl Cremer (Gus) of Chelsea, MI and their children Kara, Alisa and Eric. He was devoted to his sons' lives, providing unconditional support to their interests and endeavors. An accomplished entrepreneur, Marshall progressed over a thirty year career from an hourly temp on the factory floor to the boardroom as President & CEO of a privately held tier 1 automotive supply company. Under his leadership and through his vision and strategy, the company grew five-fold during his tenure, earning him acknowledgement as a 1998 Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. An avid sportsman, he was passionate about sailing and golf. He successfully campaigned a number of grand prix sailing teams on the Great Lakes and the East coast, providing opportunities to many sailors and friends along the way. In his later years, slowed by deteriorating health, his spirit remained strong as he audaciously strove to maintain his independence. Vincent J. Goleniak St. Clair Vincent J. Goleniak, age 60, died December 17, 2014. Vincent was born October 26, 1954 in St. Clair to the late John and Anne Goleniak. He graduated from St. Clair County Community College with an associate degree. He is survived by his sister Doris Goleniak, nieces and nephews, Bruce Inglehart (Ruth Tincoff), Keith Inglehart, Beth Inglehart (Gabriel Cabanas), Dennis Coalhart (Jodie), grandnieces, Gwen and Fay and numerous cousins.
